Press Gets Sweeter With CandyCast

Webcasts of print and broadcast personalities are so last season. Candy Pratts Price, executive fashion director of, who has done plenty of television as a fashion analyst, this time appears on screen as an animated avatar in CandyCast, a new feature on the site that launches today., Conde Nast's fashion destination site, used technology firm Oddcast to create the avatar. Bruno Frisoni, creative director of Roger Vivier, provided the willowy illustration of Pratts Price, who walks viewers through the latest in fashion and pop culture.

Guess is the sole sponsor of the first episodes; its deal includes a sponsor tag throughout and preroll and postroll ads. will continue to seek out single advertisers for each episode, which will come out on a monthly basis.
