Avatar Studio

The Avatar Studio is an easy-to-use authoring tool that allows users to create and embed customized animated characters within HTML pages, ad banners and Flash movies. Any non-technical user can easily create and update characters, backgrounds and audio messages effortlessly, without touching the underlying code. Basic HTML and JavaScript programmers can utilize the Avatar Studio's APIs to create advanced interactions with users based on their rollovers, clicks, and browser cookies. The Avatar Studio also allows operators to publish characters that read text to create dynamic speech.


How do I use it? Simply log in to your Avatar Studio account, design a character, select any .jpeg or .swf file for a background, and upload any dialogue audio file. The character then recites your message, with accurate lip-syncing and life-like mannerisms. At the touch of a button, a short piece of code is generated that can be copied and pasted into any web page or Flash movie. Oddcast hosts the software, and streams the presentation to your users.
